FAQs

Not usually, but every project is unique in terms of complexity. It is important to us to be as transparent about pricing as possible. This leads to the best experience for both our clients and our team. We do not believe pricing should be confusing or hidden. Our virtual design packages are priced per room and range based on complexity (e.g. Kitchens tend to be more complex to render than living rooms). If your kitchen and living room flow together and are open to one another, these would be considered two separate rooms.

Prices outlined for our design packages are for services only, and do not include the cost of products purchased. We will work hard to ensure that we source items that fall within our clients total budget.
-
Of course! While we are based in Connecticut, and typically support clients across CT, NY, and NJ we are open to traveling across the US. Travel will be included in the quote you are provided, as will frequency of visits. We currently do not offer in-person design services internationally.

Not at this time. We are focused on personalized residential design. Our mission and our passion is to help our clients bring their lifestyles, stories, and aspirations to life through thoughtful design. However, if you are a RE Agent we are of course interested in supporting your clients (home buyers) as they settle into their space!

It depends on the service you select and complexity of the room you're looking for support on. For more details around timing for each service, refer to the Services page on our website. For smaller in person projected we estimate 6-8 weeks. For projects that are gut renovations or new builds, you can expect 4-8 months depending on complexity. For virtual design services that do not include construction work, you can expect to enjoy your new space in as little as three weeks (depending on product sourcing lead times). If you need expedited re-design, we can work to expedite delivery and source products that at have quicker lead times.

It depends on the package you select, but we are very happy to support with project management services, inclusive of working with a general contractor. We are focused on creating the design plan to fall within our clients budgets and timelines, which typically includes working with a general contractor for larger remodeling projects. However, it is important to note that with any designer you work with, you as the home owner are responsible for choosing, paying for, and managing the contractors (but we are here to help!).

Yes, absolutely. In fact, we prefer that! We pride ourselves on providing the best possible client experience, and we know many clients already have wonderful relationships with contractors. In this case, we will work hand-in-hand with the contractors to bring your vision to life on time and within budget.
