Hi, I'm Michael Lucio, the founder of Lucio Design Co.! I believe that a home is more than just a collection of beautiful furniture—it’s a story waiting to be told. My mission is to help you tell that story through thoughtfully curated spaces that reflect your personality, your memories, and your vision of home.

I created Lucio Design Co. with one purpose in mind – to help customers feel at home within their home - to tell their stories through design. I have always been passionate about evoking feeling through design. I have been practicing interior decorating for 10 years, and for 4 years ran an interior decorating blog which helped gain attention from furniture makers, designers, and tv hosts. I began designing for family and friends, then friends of friends, and from there created Lucio Design Co. My background is bit unique because I didn’t start my career in interior decorating or design, but these experiences have taught me an array of skills that have shaped the way I approach design and how I manage projects. I have 10+ years of experience in engineering design, product design, and project management. As an engineer, I focused on improving functionality and solving complex problems with simple solutions. As a product manager I learned the importance of creating customer-centric design solutions, working backwards from customers’ needs and requirements to really make sure everyday problems are being solved. As a lead project manager I learned how to connect these requirements and develop plans to deliver on the vision on time, despite the inevitable challenges along the way.
